The Beit Midrash (Kindergarden-7th grade) is in session from 9:15AM-12:15PM on Sundays.  We recognize both Jewish and secular holidays, planning our calendar so you can enjoy special time with your families.

From the third grade and up,  Beit Midrash students also come to us midweek: on EITHER Tuesdays or Wednesdays for Hebrew Power Hour, from 5:00 to 6:00 PM (each family chooses the day that best fits their schedule). In this session, students work on service leading and Hebrew enrichment. Exceptional madrichim/madrichot join with master teachers in this intensely fun hour, usually ending with stickers and skits.

Jew Crew, a special class for students preparing for Bar and Bat Mitzvah, meets on Sundays (9:15AM-12:15PM) to engage in study and tikkun olam (repairing the world), and for an hour midweek (please check with the Rosh Beit Midrash for the current year’s schedule) to hone their Torah reading, learn fun facts, discuss the nature of the Divine, and as the year progresses, to honor our new B’nai Mitzvah.

Here is a summary to help understand the time commitments required for each grade:

Grades K-7 (all grades):  Sundays from 9:15am to 12:15pm

Grades 3-6: Hebrew Power Hour: choice of Tuesday or Wednesday from 5-6pm

Grade 7: Midweek Jew Crew
