Due to the COVD-19 outbreak and shelter-in-place restrictions, we are now live-streaming selected events.
You do not need to be a Facebook member or be logged into Facebook to see and hear the Shabbat service, nor do you need to have a  account to participate in the Torah Study or other events offered by Beth Chaim.

As we expand our programming via social media and Zoom video, we want to protect our meetings from a type of attack called 'Zoom-bombing'. Zoom-bombing is when someone gains unauthorized access to a Zoom meeting to harass the meeting participants in various ways to spread and hate and divisiveness, or to record pranks that will be later shown on social media.

To ensure our security, we have implemented the following procedures:

We will issue a password for most meetings – this will ensure only invited participants can join.

We will use waiting rooms – Zoom allows the host (the one who created the meeting) to enable a waiting room feature that prevents users from entering the meeting without first being admitted by the host.

The host will have control over the audio and video options to limit disruptions.

The host, or a designated moderator, will monitor live streaming comments, and block disruptive users participating in harassment.

Thank you all for enthusiastically embracing this new technology and helping to create such a loving and supportive virtual community within BCC.
