Beth Chaim takes pride in its policy of independence, without the need to “belong” to a particular “category” of Judaism. It is that independence that allows us to be inclusive of all members, family structures and religious backgrounds. Our membership includes Jewish families where all family members were Jewish at birth, interfaith marriages, non-marriage partnerships and families where one member has chosen to convert to Judaism.

It is the richness of the tapestry of our membership that provides a wonderful, open family and a wonderful example of love, acceptance and diversity for our children. The Beth Chaim membership is made up of those who have sought a community of comfort, safety, worship, self-expression, community service, education and their own definition of spirituality.
